From
the family entertainment area, you can see past the living room out into the back deck and the bay. Just about anywhere on
the first floor offers you an amazing view of Holmes Bay, as well as the unspoiled Maine forest between the house and the
sea.

dining and living rooms, as well as the back deck.

The
family entertainment room has comfortable seating for watching cable TV, or a DVD movie. With the expansive windows, there
is also plenty of light for reading.

While
not indoors, the large deck that spans the entire back of the house represents a good amount of living space outdoors. Plenty
of room for meals, cookouts, or as a great area for looking into the forest or out towards the bay.

Just
past the dining room is the stairway to the unfinished basement. With additional access from the outside, the basement is
an excellent place to store your bikes or kayaks safely. There is also a washer and dryer for your laundry needs (free!)

Holmes
Bay opens up right to the Atlantic Ocean; however, being on the calm bay gives the benefit of being able to kayak or canoe
to your heart's content.

This
photo shows the beach at low tide. At low tide you can walk out almost a mile and go hunting for rocks, shells or clams!
